Branded Group co-founder and CEO Michael Kurland was recently honored with the 2017 RFMA Community Champion Award. This was one of ten RFMy Awards presented at RFMA’s annual conference.
The Community Champion Award is presented to a RFMA member who has made an outstanding contribution to their community through their own volunteer efforts. Mike was acknowledged for the development of Branded Group’s one-for-one program, which donates one minute of time for every service call completed.
During the award presentation, RFMA noted that Branded Group is currently partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Orange County and donated over 100 hours of volunteer service this past year. Michael also received recognition for making a donation to a local charity when attending industry conferences rather than giving away an abundance of “freebies.”
“In addition to his own community efforts, he inspires and empowers his entire team to volunteer and give back,” RFMA stated.
